Not much progress on the Super...too much other stuff going on in the summer....yardwork, pool, sailboat racing..which = lots of drinking...but the engine and trans are in the works...and we're designing some pretty radical LED mood lighting for the interior, front trunk, and engine compartment. Later.

I've been toying with a couple of ideas, but i haven't had my bug for 3 months (its at the body shop getting painted) and its hard to know what I want to do when I don't have it in my possession. Can't wait to see what you do, you always do topnotch work. |

No prgress on the shell, been too busy, but the turbo motor is coming along. Everything is mocked up, waiting for fan shroud, then everything can be fit and then sent out for coatings.

Erik,
That engine looks killer! How tight of a fit will it be when it's installed? Don't have mine in yet, but yours looks about as wide (and maybe a little more powerful...... PD. |

Should be ready for cam break in and bench tests in a month or so after the tins get powdercoated and the exhaust and turbo intakes ceramic coated. I hope it fits !!! I'm kinda beyond the cutting and welding stages... |

How you going to jinx me like that My paint guy has had the car since tax day and didn't do any real work until two weeks ago (when the car was supposed to be done already) then he started working. You say this and it all comes to a screeching halt -------------------- |

The trans has now been torn down. Found the usual wear and tear.
All new FTC big tooth gears specific for the Turbo, new super diff, mainshaft, etc.. and specific parts sent out for Cryogenic hardening. ![]()

There's a lot of money in those last 2 pictures. What diff is that on the right? What axles and output shafts are you running?
