Hello, so I forgot to bring the camera home from the workshop last night so i could post some of the pictures of what is happening right now but I made my false floor for my compressors to sit on, I set up the tank with all the air fittings and am getting ready to head back down there after a shower today I am going to install the carpet on the false floor and install the tank the valves and hoses. Wish me luck ladies and Gents.

See, you are ahead of me on the air ride install. Great, I can learn from your mistakes now.. lol.gif Good luck, can't wait to see pics. If you didn't already figure it out, the little allen heads on the air struts can be loosened allowing you to rotate and position the strut for maximum clearance from the body. Pay special atention to this as the bags just fit and will rub if not set properly. Also, have you installed the strut bearing yet ?? I packed mine with washers to bring the plate flush. Kinda hard to explain, but you'l know what I mean.

Glad you're back, I was just wondering about your status...Later

Erik

You said the allen wrench is for adjustment of the bags how dude I FINALLY got them installed today and they are rubbing the tires. But the bug looks wicked nice "sitting" on the tires. I took more pictures but alas left the camera at the shop again tomorrow I am going to take the laptop with me as they have wifi there and I'll upload the pictures right from the car. Heard the compressors fill up the tank today sounds farging killer cant wait to fill the bags and dump the air out.

Awesome. Might be hard getting to your spare ?? That was my decision to make bracket to mount tank over gas tank and put compressor behind back seat, and insulate the area well. Can't wait to see a video of your set up running....hint hint..

Did you figure out if you can squeeze the rear bracket in w/o engine / trans removal ??

Its not that hard lifting the false floor up. I'm still trying to get the front hooked up the rear will have to wait. Both front bags are rubbing the tires and I can't figure out how to move the bags yet looking at getting wheel spacers. I leave to go back to Iraq in a week so I'll do the rear when I come home.

More progress on the bug got the door handles off and started to fill the holes where the molding used to be got the fenders split and started filling them back in got the interior stripped out looks like she might be getting ready for paint now. Windows got dropped off last night should be back tomorrow went with five percent tint so hopefully that will look good.

Hmm., you know that if you loosen those allens on the strut body, you can rotate the strut and the and it is "off center" so rotating it is kinda like roating an egg sideways, catcha my drift..My bags do not hit at all....just the top of the air strut body, the chrome lookin cap with the phillips screws...

Looking good, my rear end doesn't go quite as low as I thought it would, but I'm happy with the stance.. Is your rear end bracket and arms welded on yet ??

So the windows are back in the interior top side is painted just need to paint from the windows down and start painting the outside. Just got my carpet kit in the mail on friday and should get my HID headlight kit this week. Should hopfully start paint some time this week don't really know though. Im thinking of putting a laptop in the passenger side with wireless internet, and putting a monitor in the headliner maybe even use one of the pocket projectors. Thought it would be cool would like some feed back on it though. Also does anybody have the glass action center console would like to know more about it.
