Chisels other German car

Thought I'd take some time and update this old thread about my other car. It is a '99 Mercedes C230 Kompressor and I bought it with 42k miles. (As of 05/2016 it now has 151k). This car was quite a find and was hardly used and was taken to the dealer for every service. I am very pleased with it and it has been a great car. It does very good in the foothills and gets pretty decent gas mileage (26-28) while still being pretty quick. I love it still after all these years!

Just got some chrome 17" Monoblock AMG's for it. I love the staggered look.

Since I'm updating this thread, I should list some of my upgrades and plans. I put brakes from a C55 AMG on it last year (W203 body). They never had brakes this big factory on a W202 body. 345mm rotor and 4 piston Brembo calipers 44mm/40mm. No more warp and no more fade.

The latest update will be an entirely new suspension setup with the upgraded Mercedes "Sport" suspension (geometry) and Vogtland coils (1.5" lower) and K-Mac camber adjustment bushings front and rear. I'm also going to replace the tie rod assy and idler arm bushing. Then I can put my new set of rims on: 18" Carlsson 1/5's w/ custom wrinkle black powercoat. Continental Extreme Contact tires, 225/40 front and 255/35 rear. I can't wait for the new configuration! :ahhh::woot:

Thanks! I really like this car. It has been pretty good to me. I've had to replace the AC compressor (about 2 years ago) and just had the trans rebuilt, but other than that it's been a trouble free car.

Hopefully soon! I need to get my suspension sorted out before I do otherwise I'll wear out the tires fast. But soon... I've wanted them on for over 6 months now!
